Testimonials

I have known Stewart for 6 years. Over those years I have observed Stewart guiding my son to successfully prepare, audition, and land spots in the percussion section at his high school concert, symphonic, and marching bands. In addition to his teaching skills, Stewart is dependable, patient, and most importantly keeps each drum lesson interactive and fun.

Stewart has been a private drum instructor to our son for 11 years. He has demonstrated not only professional expertise in music but also a level of caring and compassion for teaching of the arts that you don't see everyday. Stewart has taught everything from the "basics" to our son, to preparing him and his band to compete in the Battle of the Bands, which our son's band won.

I have had the privilege of taking drum lessons with Stewart for 9 years. Throughout those years he has taught me how to play rock, pop, jazz, funk, and latin styles. His abilities however reach far beyond the drum kit. He is well versed in music theory. His knowledge would expose students to the wonders of music, showing them what music is and how to feel it.
